Earlier this year, the Board’s Business Technology Strategic Committee (BTSC) hosted a series of focus groups on collaboration and data analytics. These sessions were part of an ongoing effort to develop a Boardwide technology strategy driven by needed business capabilities.

More than 200 individuals who represented all divisions and a broad range of positions took part. Participants were asked to define their collaboration and data analytics needs, as well as any areas where those needs are not being fully met. The themes that emerged from the initial sessions are being used to focus the BTSC's planning and investment objectives going forward.

In September, the BTSC began seeking input from the broader Board community on these same topics: collaboration and data analytics. You may participate in the BTSC survey online through Wednesday, October 14.

By completing this short survey, you will have an opportunity to help the BTSC shape the organization’s technology strategy and investments over the coming years. The BTSC encourages all staff members to participate in the survey, so that results from the small initial focus groups can be validated (or clarified). This information will also help the BTSC more precisely identify needs that may differ across divisions and between job families.

It includes a combination of multiple choice and open-ended questions and takes approximately 20 minutes to complete. All responses will remain anonymous.

For technical questions about the survey or if you have problems taking the survey, please contact the Board Help Desk.
