- Most valuable part of your internship: The professional development that I have experienced through individual projects, team meetings, and assisting leadership in various research assignments.
- Why did you want to continue at the Board? Due to the structure of my graduate program, I was able to stay in my internship throughout the year; I have continued extending my internship because I love the work environment and rigor of my day-to-day duties.
- Advice: Make the most out of networking opportunities and NEVER hesitate to ask (appropriate) questions, work or non-work related.

- Most valuable part of your internship last summer:The fantastic group of people that I was able to work with. Lewis is a great boss, was flexible, and was willing to train me how to do my work assignments, and meeting all of my fellow interns was a great networking experience and just plain fun.
- Why did you want to return? I came back for the same reason, the people that I got to work with. HR is like its own little family.
- Advice: Only one person can go through any of the Board’s sliding/revolving glass doors at a time. Don’t learn the hard way…
Jade Winslow (returning intern)

- Most valuable part of your internship last summer: Having the opportunity to observe and engage in the undertakings of the Board’s Law Enforcement Unit. From learning the vital roles of the administrative and security personnel to learning the duties of the K9 Unit, every moment spent while employed at the Board was an awarding and unique learning experience.
- Why did you want to return? What made me want to return to the Board this summer was the inviting environment, the wonderful people, and the irreplaceable opportunity to make an impact in an agency that is the backbone of our nation’s economy.
