Star Award recipient: Karen McKenzie

Karen McKenzie received the Star Award from Michell Clark.

Karen is a senior communications specialist in Internal Communications. She was nominated by Bill Mitchell for her responsive and excellent service while lending support to the project team that developed definitions for the Board and division-wide competencies. She then did a superb job in helping finalize the definitions by providing timely and thoughtful feedback and ensuring they were understandable and consistent with Board writing standards. It makes sense that her favorite part of the job is “the variety of projects and activities I get to work on. It really keeps the job interesting and I’m always learning something new.”
